Jan PingAn integral part of our 2nd Act is to make funds available to women who are looking to create their own 2nd Acts.

Looking to start your own non-profit?
Want to return to school for special training?
Have a dream of manufacturing a brilliant widget to improve lives?

We want to hear about your idea! And your 2nd Act doesn’t necessarily have to be cancer related. Children, animals, the environment – whatever makes your heart sing!

Remember, in this case, size doesn’t matter. The doing does!

Our micro grants recipients – women survivors of ANY cancer – will be made via an application process, through which the applicant will clearly state her project, its process, and its goals. An Advisory Board will analyze the applications and make the final decision. Neither our founder nor our governing board members are a part of the decision-making process. Decisions are made in a fair and objective manner by consensus between all Advisory Board members.

The 2017 Grant Cycle will open on June 1, 2017. Applicants will have until June 30, 2017 to complete and submit their applications. Two $1,000 grants will be awarded to Phoenix metro area women survivors, and another $1,000 grant will be made to a Tucson metro area woman survivor.

Stay tuned for more information!
