What a night of celebration it was! Five amazing women and organizations were recognized for their commitment to give back to the greater good in their 2nd Acts! All of our fundraising allows us to make annual micro grants. When you’ve identified YOUR 2nd Act, money should not be a barrier to experience the magic healing in helping others!
Large or small. Cancer related or not. Creating something from the ground up or performing random acts of kindness. These are all fabulous examples of 2nd Acts shared on our stages. Visit our performance galleries and Purple Tribe page to see how 50 women have inspired audiences to create their own 2nd Acts!
The 2nd Act Workshops are not support groups – they’re the discovery of how your skills, passions and cancer experience uniquely qualify you for A 2nd Act. You’ll receive everything you need: a bound workbook, lots of inspiration and motivation, and a customized plan to create your 2nd Act. Check out our calendar for upcoming dates and locations!

All of our fundraising efforts allow us to make annual micro grants, seed money for women survivors of all cancers who are ready to launch or grow their 2nd Acts.
The ever-changing cast allows us to inspire entire theaters to find the treasure in life’s wreckage, all the while raising money for our programs.
Collections of the stories told on our stages, providing light at the end of the tunnel for the newly diagnosed, and inspiration for those already down the road in their survivorship.
Volunteers, donors, sponsors and grantors – all propelling us to our best lives!
Putting on lovely events for dazzling ladies certainly does take a village. Please get in touch if you are able to assist us with event prep, distribution of our A2ndAct books to those in need of them, or social media.
As we insist on keeping these resources available to all women who need them, funding for our work is provided by donations. Your gifts are tax deductible and all dollars remain in the city they were given in.
Survivors know how to celebrate! Especially when five amazing women and organizations are recognized for their commitment to give back to the greater good in their 2nd Acts! And THEN there's the money! Holding checks on behalf of their organizations, from left: Reba Mason, Reba's Vision; Linda King, Help Fix the Hurt; Paula Cullison, Arizona Women's Partnership; Bobbi Sudberry, Kaity's Way; and Ebony Daniels, Making Finance Fashionable. Each received $1,000 from A 2nd Act to continue growing their 2nd Acts. Congratulations, ladies!READ MORE
Now those are words you don't often expect to hear associated with a bank. Since the birth of A 2nd Act, National Bank of Arizona has been so very supportive. But when they asked to us a part of their Arizona Business Today, did a photo shoot, a video, a print story, AND radio spots, all with A 2nd Act as the focus, we realized they weren't just a great place to stash our cash! We hope you'll get the picture as you read and watch. And while we use them for their non-profit banking program, they work with for profit companies and individuals as well (hint, hint!)READ MORE
