What a night of celebration it was! Five amazing women and organizations were recognized for their commitment to give back to the greater good in their 2nd Acts! All of our fundraising allows us to make annual micro grants. When you’ve identified YOUR 2nd Act, money should not be a barrier to experience the magic healing in helping others!
A 2nd Act is raising the bar in storytelling! Each performance of S.T.A.R.S: Survivors Tell a Real Story is meant to inspire the audience to overcome their life challenges in the same way the cast has: by finding the treasure in the wreckage, and sharing that treasure with others. Auditions are January 26 & 27.
The 2nd Act Workshops are not support groups – they’re the discovery of how your skills, passions and cancer experience uniquely qualify you for A 2nd Act. You’ll receive everything you need: a bound workbook, lots of inspiration and motivation, and a customized plan to create your 2nd Act. Check out our calendar for upcoming dates and locations!
Guiding survivors to discover what their skills, passions and THEIR CANCER uniquely qualify them to do in their 2nd Acts. Offered free of charge!

All of our fundraising efforts allow us to make annual micro grants, seed money for women survivors of all cancers who are ready to launch or grow their 2nd Acts.
The ever-changing cast allows us to inspire entire theaters to find the treasure in life’s wreckage, all the while raising money for our programs.
Collections of the stories told on our stages, providing light at the end of the tunnel for the newly diagnosed, and inspiration for those already down the road in their survivorship.
Volunteers, donors, sponsors and grantors – all propelling us to our best lives!
Putting on lovely events for dazzling ladies certainly does take a village. Please get in touch if you are able to assist us with event prep, distribution of our A2ndAct books to those in need of them, or social media.
As we insist on keeping these resources available to all women who need them, funding for our work is provided by donations. Your gifts are tax deductible and all dollars remain in the city they were given in.
